Mrs. Markulj

Mrs. Markulj graduated from Baldwin County High School in 1994. She then went to the Coastal Alabama Community College formally known as (Faulkner State Community College) and earned an Associate of Science degree in 1998. She continued her education at the University of South Alabama and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Collaborative Special Education K-6th grade in 2002. In 2006 she earned a Collaborative Special Education 6-12th grade certificate. This qualified her to teach K-12th grade Special Education. She later earned a Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration in 2017. She also earned her Career Technology 6-12th certification in 2017. She has been a teacher at Bay Minette Middle School since 2005, but has taught since 2003. She has additional certifications: AMSTI 7th grade Science, Plugged in to Reading, Language!, Discovery Education, Behavior Management with Children with Autism.

 She lives in the Gateswood area with her husband, Thomas, and four children: Mario (18), Austin (18), Brooklyn (14), and Dustin (12). She is a member of Hamilton Baptist Church in Gateswood, Alabama.
