Mr. Joseph Sharp

Mr. Sharp has been in education for more than 28 years.  After spending 13 years in Alabama as a PE teacher/Athletic Director/ Head Football Coach at Robertsdale Elementary School, Fairhope High School and Spain Park High School. Mr. Sharp moved to Cobb County Georgia and served as an assistant Principal at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw Georgia. In 2008, Mr. Sharp accepted the position of Principal of Thomas County Central High School and moved his family to Thomasville Georgia. In 2012, Mr. Sharp relocated back to Cobb County and was later named Principal at Sprayberry High School in Marietta Georgia.  Mr. Sharp’s strong desire to return “home” to his alma mater (class of ‘86) and lead Robertsdale High School became a reality in May of 2018.

Mr. Sharp and his wife Deanna reside in Silverhill and they have 4 children; Bailey, Logan, Frankie and Sophia.  Mr. Sharp enjoys his free time watching college football, going to the beach, enjoying the outdoors, working in the yard and spending time with family and friends.  Mr. Sharp is eager to meet the students and their families and begin working on school improvement initiatives.
