Mr. Mitch Pinkston

Mitch Pinkston has been in education for more than 15 years, including 4 years at Robertsdale High School.  After serving as a high school social studies teacher for 7 years in Dunlap, Illinois, Mr. Pinkston moved to the district office as the Director of Curriculum and Assessment for the Bismark-Henning School District in Bismarck, Illinois.  When an opportunity presented itself, Mr. Pinkston and his wife moved to Georgia where he served as an assistant principal at McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Georgia, for 2 years.  A desire to relocate near family in Baldwin County and the strong reputation of Baldwin County Schools brought Mr. Pinkston to Robertsdale High School, and he is happy to begin his 5th year as an interim principal at RHS.

Mr. Pinkston is married to his wife, Samantha, and together they have a young daughter.  When not at school, Mr. Pinkston enjoys being outdoors, watching sports (particularly NASCAR and football), and spending time with family and friends.  Mr. Pinkston is looking forward to a great school year.
