FAIRHOPE MIDDLE SCHOOL CLUBSProject Outreach
This club is open to all students who have the desire to help our handicapped students by offering friendship and support. Members are involved in school activities with the students as well as community events like the Special Olympics. The club meets monthly.This club was formally known as "FEC" (Friends of Exceptional Children).FIRST PRIORITY

First Priority is a non-denominational gathering of students leading in prayer and bible study. They meet every Wednesday morning before school in the Library Loft. There is no “membership” and everyone is welcome to attend.NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY

Students must be in 7th or 8th grade to qualify. Qualifications include an overall 3.5 GPA with no discipline record. In addition to academics, students must also demonstrate character, leadership, service and citizenship attributes. If students have met the academic requirement and have no discipline record, the faculty then votes on membership.PEER HELPERS

7th and 8th Grade Peer Helpers are chosen based upon completed applications, 3 teacher recommendations, and a screening process. Peer Helpers may be involved in peer tutoring and mentoring. Peer Helpers are chosen in April/May each year, and are trained in August/September. Peer Helpers meet weekly during the school year. The Peer Helper Program is funded by the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation.SCHOLAR'S BOWL

The Fairhope Middle Scholar’s Bowl Team competes in both Baldwin and Mobile Counties against other Middle Schools, answering questions on all topics of knowledge. Students “audition” to join the team in the second week of the school year by taking a test of trivia type questions. Please see the sponsors for more information.ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB

This club is for students who are interested in creating an awareness of global environmental issues through education by becoming involved with efforts to help protect, conserve, preserve, and restore our local environment. Fairhope Middle School's Environmental Club meets one Wednesday a month. Guest speakers are invited to educate students on local environmental issues. Students use the engineering design process to demonstrate what they learn about our local environment.Kiwanis Builder's Club

•Vision: To develop competent, capable, caring leaders through the vehicle of service.ARCHERY CLUBSponsor: Mrs. Angela BoyerArchery is a great way to be with friends and learn a new sport that’s as old as history itself. Whether your goal is to relax with a fun archery game, or develop skills to excel in competition, archery has it all. The Archery Club meets weekly and participates in competitions in the spring. 7th/8th grade boys and girls are welcome, and the fee is $25. This fee includes a t-shirt and the cost of arrows. The Archery team does require a tryout and selection process.FCA- FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETESSponsor: Coach John HardmanThe Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an interdenominational Christian sports ministry whose mission is to see the world impacted through the influence of athletes and coaches. The Fairhope Middle School FCA meets on Tuesdays at 7:15 am in the FACS LAB.

What is FBLA? FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America.
It is a professional student organization that is available in a majority of schools across America.
FBLA has three main aspects:
Social- We get to know each other and have lots of fun
Professional- We learn new things about business, attend conferences, and work on job skills.
Community Service- We give back to the community that has given us so much.
What does FBLA do?

The Fairhope Middle School Student Government (SGA) is a voice for students' academic and social interests. The SGA representatives serve as a liaison between the students, teachers, and administrators at Fairhope Middle School. Homerooms vote for their SGA representative, and meetings are held after school.
