- Registration for new Pre-K and Kindergarten students will begin on April 1st, 2025.
- This registration is specifically for students who have been accepted into a Pre-K program and those entering Kindergarten for the first time.
- Important: Current Pre-K students transitioning to Kindergarten will register through the returning student registration process (details below).

How and where do I enroll my child?
New and returning students can enroll using this page: www.bcbe.org/registration. The registrar at each school is responsible for answering specific questions regarding student enrollment; please call the school to make an appointment with the appropriate person before arriving.
Where can I find a list of schools in Baldwin County?
A list of all schools can be found under the "About Us" section of the BCBE website. You can also click "Our Schools" on the top right of each page on the BCBE website.
How can I be certain which school my child should attend?
Click on the School Zone Locator, read the disclaimer, press "enter" and then type in your address to see the schools that serve your address. The web-based school locator page is provided as a fast-reference service. It is very important that you contact the schools it lists to ensure that the information is indeed correct.
What information will I need to bring in order to register my child?
Please bring the following documents with you for each child you wish to enroll:
- Birth certificate (For age verification)
- Two proofs of residence- one of these must be a recent utility bill with your Baldwin County address
- Withdrawal papers from last school attended, including transcript
- Immunization form
- All students are required by Alabama State Law to have an original certificate of immunization (IMM-50); copies are unacceptable. These certificates may be obtained from your local physician or Baldwin County Health Department in Robertsdale at 251.947.1910.
- You will be required to complete an enrollment form for each student. These will be made available by the registrar or counselor when you visit the school.
What if I am not the legal guardian/custodian for a child? What do I need to do?
To enroll a student in the Baldwin County School System you must have legal custody of the student. Delegations of parental authority or powers of attorney will not be accepted. The enrolling guardian/custodian shall reside in the attendance zone in which enrollment is sought. The student being enrolled must actually reside with his/her guardian/custodian.
In addition to the matters noted in the preceding paragraph, it shall be the sole duty and responsibility of the enrolling guardian/custodian to provide all documentation otherwise required by the Baldwin County Board of Education as a prerequisite to enrollment.

- After creating an account and logging in, click the "Add a Student" button.
- If your student is currently a Baldwin County student:
- Enter their student ID, name, and date of birth.
- Click "Continue to Student Information."
- If your student is NOT currently enrolled in Baldwin County Schools:
- Click "No" and then "Continue to Student Information."
- Enter the required information for the student.
- When asked for your current school, if your student is not a Baldwin County student, select "None" or "Other."

How do I create a SchoolMint Account?
How do I create a SchoolMint Account?
- Go to the Baldwin County Schools SchoolMint website: https://bcbe.schoolmint.com.
- Click on "Create an Account."
- Enter your name.
- Enter your email address and/or phone number.
- Create a password.
- Click to create your account.
- You can also sign in using your Google or Facebook account if you prefer.
What if I forget my SchoolMint password?
If you've forgotten your password:
- Click on the "Forgot Password?" link, which is located below the "Login" button.
- Enter the email address or phone number associated with your SchoolMint account.
- SchoolMint will send you an email or text message with instructions on how to reset your password.
What if I don’t have an email address/phone number?
SchoolMint requires either an email address or a mobile phone number to create an account. If you don't have either, you'll need to get one of them.
- Email: You can create a free email account through services like Gmail or Yahoo Mail.
- Once you have an email address or phone number, you can create your SchoolMint account.
How do I get my student’s student ID?
Your student's ID number (also called a student number) is a 10-digit number that starts with 19 or 20. Here are the best ways to find it:
- PowerSchool Parent Portal: The easiest way is to log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Once logged in, click on the online registration icon. Your student's student number will be displayed on this page.
- Contact Your School: If you can't access the PowerSchool Parent Portal, please contact your student's school directly. They can help you locate the student ID number.
Do I still need a PowerSchool Parent Portal?
While you don't have to have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to register your student, we strongly recommend it.
The PowerSchool Parent Portal is a website that allows you to see all your student's information in one place. Besides registration, you can use it to check:
- Grades
- Assignments and scores
- Attendance records
- Schedules
- School bulletins
You can also sign up for email notifications from PowerSchool about your student's progress.
