BCBE Feeder Patterns

  • A feeder pattern is the sequence of schools that students attend as they progress through the grade levels. Elementary schools feed middle schools which feed high schools. 

    Currently, Baldwin County has seven feeder patterns, meaning there are seven high schools that other schools feed into. In a fast-growing county like Baldwin, school attendance zones and even feeder patterns will change. The Board of Education’s redistricting policy provides guidance on a rezoning process and includes notice of any proposed changes and public hearings before any change is recommended by the superintendent and voted on by the Board of Education.
