December 9, 2019 CPR Training Day
The Baldwin County Schools Health Services will be offering CPR Training all day on December 9, 2019.
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Central Office, Bay Minette, AL
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Central Satellite Office, Loxley, AL.
3:30 PM to 5:30PM Central Satellite Office, Loxley
The cost of the CPR card is $8.00 per person.
Employees are encouraged to attend!

Students are generally referred to Baldwin County Public School System social workers by guidance counselors, school nurses, or administrators. Referral reasons may include mental health issues, financial difficulties, medical concerns, behavioral problems, parent-child conflict, family crises, suspected child abuse/neglect, poor academic performance, and truancy/excessive tardiness.

The Baldwin County Board of Education, in cooperation with HNH Immunizations Inc., will once again offer the influenza (FLU) vaccines in schools October 21-22, 2019. The vaccination will be made available to all students, except for students who are dependents of parents insured by the Public Education Employee Health Insurance Program (PEEHIP). Employee’s children are given the opportunity to participate in the Alabama Department of Public Health Wellness school clinics and arenot eligible for this program.
The live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV), also known as the nasal spray, is not available for the 2019-2020 School Year. We will only offer the injectable vaccine.
Consent forms were sent to all parents directly from the school. The consent form must be completed and signed by the parents. Please return the form to your child’s school nurse. Students will not receive the vaccine without a properly signed consent form.

The Baldwin County Public School System is committed to the provision of excellent educational opportunities for all students. Studies have shown that students who eat breakfast are more likely to reacher high levels of achievement in reading and math, score higher on standardized tests, have better concentration and memory, be more alert and maintain a healthy weight.Breakfast is available throughout the year in select Baldwin County Public Schools. The price for breakfast is $1.75 for K-12. For more information or to see if breakfast is available at your school please contact the school office.
