About the Special Services Department
The Special Services Department promotes opportunities for gifted and disabled students to participate in educational activities designed to facilitate maximum student achievement. A full range of services, meeting the needs of all identified disabled students (Pre-K – 12), is offered in all schools in the Baldwin County Public School System. Disabilities recognized by the State of Alabama include Autism, Deaf-Blindness, Developmental Delay, Emotional Disability, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Disabilities, Multiple Disabilities, Orthopedic Impairment, Other Health Impairment, Specific Learning Disability, Speech or Language Impairment, Traumatic Brain Injury and Visual Impairment.
If a student has an IEP it will be implemented based on the new dates for the 2019-20 school year.Here's a link to: SETS WEB
Special Education Spring Games 2021
WHAT AN AWESOME DAY! What an awesome day today for the Baldwin County Special Education Spring Games. Students from the Robertsdale Feeder, Spanish Fort, and Foley Feeder Pattern participated in the Spring Games. Congratulations athletes on an outstanding performance. The games will continue on Friday with the remaining feeder patterns participating in the games & activities. #baldwinproud
