Mr. Michael Johnson, District 1
Michael Johnson has lived in Bay Minette since he was seven years old. He is a 1974 graduate of Baldwin County High School. Mr. Johnson graduated from the University of Mobile with a B.S. degree in Music Education and from the School of Pharmacy at Auburn University. He retired from the University of South Alabama Children and Women’s hospital as a NICU pharmacist.
Mr. Johnson is married to Linda Johnson and they reside in the Gateswood community. The Johnson’s are members of Bay Minette First Methodist Church.

Supt.– Baldwin County Public Schools (Jan. 2010 – June 2010) Interim Supt.– Retired: Baldwin County Public Schools July 2010JaNay has been very involved in the community over the years including the South Baldwin Chamber Theater (1980 to 1997), acting and singing in plays, and her troop was invited to perform at the International Theater in Denmark in 1991 where they performed a musical history of America centering on Immigrants at the turn of the century. She is an active member of Foley United Methodist Church where she is a soloist and sings in the choir, teaches Sunday School, serves as Church Council Chair and teaches in the Christian Life Club, focusing on children ages 4 through 6th grade.Her civic work includes the City of Foley. She is the chair of the Foley Historical Commission and is a member of the Mainstreet/Rejuvenation Committee for downtown Foley. She is the fundraising Chair of the Foley Centennial Committee.JaNay writes and prepares skits and shows for the Foley Theater Company from Foley High School centering on historical events in the development of the city. She is a member of the Chamber Foundation Advisory Council, has served as the educational representative on the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce in the 1990’s and in 2007. Her awards include: Principal of the Year for District VIII 2003 and finalist in Dillard’s Career Woman of the Year. She was presented the Truman Pierce Award by the Alabama Association of Elementary School Administrators District VIII and was selected as the 2016 Educator of the Year by Alabama Beta Upsilon.JaNay has been married to Howard Dawson for 39 years. They have two daughters; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In fact, they have four grandchildren in Foley Schools; one in Foley Elementary, two in Foley Intermediate and one in Foley High School.She also enjoys reading, golfing, traveling and spending time with her family.

Jason is a life long resident of Elberta, attending Elberta schools himself, and ultimately graduating from Foley High School in 1995. Following high school, Jason attended Auburn University, graduating in 1999 with a B.S. in Agriculture Economics.After graduating from Auburn, Jason returned to Elberta to pursue a career in agriculture. Jason and his wife, Kristen, have three boys, who all currently attend Elberta schools. Jason is an active member of his community serving as a deacon at The Point Church in Elberta, volunteering with the Elberta Youth Sports Association, and within the schools as opportunities arise.Serving as the representative for District 5 is an honor and privilege. Jason looks forward to working closely with those in his district, as well as the fellow school board representatives to continue the tradition of excellence that has already been established in Baldwin County schools.

Cecil grew up in Chickasaw, Alabama, the youngest of three siblings, with very loving parents and a wonderful, close-knit community that cared about all children Cecil graduated from Auburn with a degree in Agricultural Science in 1975 and married his high school sweetheart, Linda, the next year, just after she completed her Early Childhood Education degree from Auburn.
Cecil, Linda and two young daughters, Amanda and Abbey moved to Fairhope in 1984, with their third daughter, Alison, born just three weeks before the opening of their family owned, small business, Old Tyme Feed & Garden Supply. All three daughters attended Fairhope schools from kindergarten through graduation. Amanda currently teaches for the Baldwin County School Board. Two grandsons continue the tradition of attending Fairhope Schools.
The Christenberrys are members of Fairhope United Methodist Church where Cecil has taught an adult Sunday school class since 2000. He also serves as a Certified Lay Minister and recently received a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with the wonderful help from all “his girls”.
Serving District 6, the Fairhope Feeder Pattern, is an honor and privilege. Cecil believes in very open communication and looks forward to the opportunity to earn the trust and respect of everyone in the district as well as the other board members and the administration of Baldwin County Public Schools.

Mrs. Cauley has been an active volunteer in the Spanish Fort community, particularly in support of public education. Mrs. Cauley has served in PTA leadership positions for multiple Spanish Fort schools and is an active board member of the Spanish Fort Education Enrichment Foundation (SFEEF).
Mrs. Cauley and her family have been residents of Spanish Fort since 2000. Both of her children have attended Spanish Fort Schools. Her son is a member of the SFHS Class of 2017 and her daughter is a member of the SFHS Class of 2019.
