Chess club is an extracurricular school activity designed to give students an opportunity to learn the game of chess, improve their chess skills, and to enjoy competition against their peers. Chess is used to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. While the students will have the chance to track their progress and to compete in chess matches, our main focus will be to encourage learning, sportsmanship, and fun.

Chess club meets the first and third Thursday of each month from 3:05-4pm. Parents -- please join the Chess Club Remind thread, for information on cancellations due to weather, change in pick-up instructions, or general communication with Mrs. Dailey.
