• DHS Flu Vaccination Clinic - Nov. 7, 2024

The flu season is upon us and the best way to protect your family is with the annual flu vaccine. Baldwin County Schools along with Health Heroes Inc. offer the flu vaccine at school, given by Health Heroes Registered Nurses.

The DHS vaccination clinic is on Thursday November 7th, 2024. The flu season usually runs from October – May with most infections happening in January and February.
Vaccines are provided at NO COST to students or parents. Health Heroes does bill both Medicaid and private insurance; however, they never bill students or parents for any out-of-pocket expenses or deductibles. Qualifying uninsured students can be given the vaccine, free of charge.

If you wish for your child to participate, please COMPLETELY fill out and sign a consent form and turn into your child’s school nurse. (A link to the consent form PDF can be found on the school website, or your student may stop by the nurses’ station for a physical copy.)
