How do students use Office 365, on their Chromebook or family/personal computer?

  • To use Office 365 online from any computer, including the school issued Chromebook or even a family or personal computer, 

    1. In the web browser (Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc...) go to portal.microsoftonline.com
    2. Log in using the student's school issued User Name 
    3. You will be forwarded to the Student Portal login page.  Proceed through logging into this screen as normal by entering the student's user name and password.Screenshot: Install Office Button
    4. To use the available apps such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, click on the links at the left of the page.
    5. To download and install Microsoft Office 365 applications like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, click on the  Install Office button at the top right of the page.
