Congratulations to you for being selected for induction into the National Junior Honor Society.  You have been selected to become a member of a national organization of selected students who excel not only in academic subjects but in character, leadership, service, and citizenship.

The induction ceremony will be held in the cafeteria at 9:00 A.M., Friday, March 21, 2025.  We hope that each of you invite your parents to the ceremony.  It is essential that they know about your selection and the time and location of the ceremony.  We are sure they will want to be a part of it.  Boys, please wear dress pants, button down shirt and a tie. Be sure to tuck your shirt in. Girls, please wear a nice dress. You are not allowed to wear strapless, spaghetti straps, one- shoulder or form-fitting dresses. Also, dresses should be no more than 3 inches above your knees. No heels over 2 inches.

There will additionally be a reception following the induction ceremony, after which your parents may check you out via a sign out sheet.

We have scheduled a practice for you on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 9:00 A.M.  We will walk you through the ceremony so that you know exactly what to do.  It is very important that you come to this practice. Any classwork that you miss during practice must be made up.

All new members must pay a $20 membership fee by April 4, 2025.  Please pay using My School Bucks thru the QR Code posted on the NJHS portion of the SFMS website.
